Who We Are
STEAMDivas is a nonprofit built around creativity, technical confidence, and hands-on learning. We create STEAM experiences for girls ages 8–18 that connect STEM to the interests, ideas, and worlds they already know.
Our goal is not simply to expose girls to STEM. We want them to see themselves as builders, thinkers, creators, problem-solvers, and future leaders in the spaces where tomorrow is being created.

Protecting the Audacity to Dream
Young girls should be able to imagine themselves in every room where the future is being created.
At STEAMDivas, we protect that audacity to dream by giving girls opportunities to explore STEM through curiosity, creativity, hands-on practice, and real participation. We want them to build confidence by doing—not simply by being told that STEM is a place where they belong.
Because sometimes the first step toward becoming anything is simply being able to imagine yourself there.

Our Signature Experiences
Familiar interests become entry points into STEM.
Instead of asking girls to adapt themselves to STEM, we look for the STEM already hiding inside the things they are curious about.
Hair meets engineering.
Students combine hair design, electronics, LEDs, servo motors, Arduino programming, and the engineering design process to create technology-enhanced styles.
Chemistry meets beauty.
Students explore formulation, pH, ingredients, product safety, and the chemistry behind everyday beauty products through hands-on experiments.
Storytelling meets artificial intelligence.
Students explore AI and machine learning through characters, emotions, movement, storytelling, and creative world-building.
Robotics made approachable.
RobotDiva makes robotics easier to understand through digital learning, hands-on projects, demonstrations, creative exploration, and community experiences.

Students work with robots, circuits, electronics, prototypes, wearables, and physical systems. They learn by assembling, experimenting, troubleshooting, testing, and improving what they make.

STEAMDivas is shaped by people who build, teach, design, create, engineer, and work across STEM every day.
Engineers, artists, educators, technologists, mentors, volunteers, families, and community partners bring different perspectives into the experiences we create.
That matters because students should meet people who use the concepts they are learning. They should be able ask questions about real pathways, learn from different experiences, and see how many ways there are to build a life around curiosity and technical ability.
